The QCI Practice Alliance

QCI Behavioral Health Consulting Group, LLC provides private insurance- services deployed through the QCI Practice Alliance (QCIPA). Complete management solution, or a custom set of services can be designed to meet the needs of the individual psychotherapist in private practice.

 These include:

Health Plan & Provider Contracting

Health Plan Relationships

QCIPA through its parent company has experience and a strong reputation with many of the major health plans. This positive background is beneficial for our providers in health plan contracting settings.

Local Clinical Management Services

QCIPA works with the provider group to design and implement a clinical management program within a practice structure that assures the right level of care for patients at the appropriate setting while meeting all health plan, governmental and other regulatory requirements. QCIPA typically establishes a local or regional presence that is dedicated to providing utilization management functions for the practice in a localized fashion. The clinical management staff also provides the administrative support for a Utilization Management Committee of local practitioners that reviews complex cases and establishes local policies and procedures that meet the needs of the local practice membership.

An essential component of QCIPA’s ability to manage utilization and keep administrative costs low is through the effective use of information technology.
